MORTGAGE CALCULATOR
The mortgage payment represented here contains principal and interest only. Added
to that will be your monthly escrow payment for taxes and insurance. The Homeowner's
insurance varies with age, value and location of the home. Taxes, of course, vary
with the assessed value and location of the home. Different Counties can have different
tax rates.
To use, simply press
[Tab] after each entry of
Mortgage Amount,
Interest Rate, and Term, then press the [Calculate
Payment] button. Press the
[Clear All] button to clear the fields
and start a new calculation. Please do not use any formatting in your entry.
Dollar amounts are entered without commas, or dollar sign. Interest rates are
entered as whole numbers. They can be entered as 6.0 or 5.5, but NOT as .06 or
.055. The length of loan is entered in months only. Enter 360 for 30years, or
180 for 15 years. The program behind this page,
however, is very forgiving, and will correct most errors.
